ledburyebiz is the online trading arm of the Ledbury & Area Development Trust which we are using to trade on eBay.
Having recently completed a Pilot Study we will be rolling out a full service over the coming weeks and months designed to be of benefit to people living and working in and around Ledbury.
We believe that the longer-term benefits to the community could include:
Selling items on eBay on behalf of members of the community unfamiliar with how it works - with the proceeds being divided appropriately
Selling items on eBay donated by members of the community
Working with partners to sell items that might otherwise be thrown away
In the longer term, establishing a small community fund to which local individuals and groups could apply for small amounts of funding

The Pilot also enabled us to investigate whether such a service (operating alongside our other activities) could contribute towards our aim of becoming financially self-sufficient - and help us to continue to work and 'make a positive difference' for the benefit of the local community.
